The Norwegian company leased 4,200 sqm of the 19,000 sqm comprised in the third class A office building in the Openville mixed-use project that is currently under construction in the vicinity of Iulius Mall Timişoara. UBC 3 was completed in March and joins the two other office buildings that were completed in 2017, namely UBC 1 (13,000 sqm) and UBC 2 (18,000 sqm).

 

Visma Software has a genuine success story: it started out with 15 employees and plans to employ approximately 100 other persons in the future. The company’s new offices located in Timișoara are inspired by the minimalist and functional Norwegian design. The workspace is fitted with more than 200 work stations spanning on three floors, meeting rooms for trainings and workshops, and even a 100 seat conference hall.

 

Each floor also has specially designed relaxation spaces: billiard and fussball room, library, boardgame and PlayStation area. Team members can also spend their breaks enjoying a cup of coffee at the coffee corner or having lunch in the specially fitted rooms. Moreover, the team can also enjoy the aforementioned areas in their free time.

 

“Visma Software Romania is a success story, therefore at the end of last year we had a 29% economic growth, which allows us to keep our leading market position via the IT systems we produce in our offices in Sibiu and Timișoara. In 2018 we expanded our teams in the two cities, currently having more than 450 employees, and we plan to hire more than 100 persons in the future. We constantly invest in people development and focus on a friendly and open work environment, and the new office spaces in Timișoara promote well-being of the Visma Software team members”, said Sorin Rotaru, Managing Director Visma Software Romania.

 

The UBC 3 building is fitted with eight high-speed elevators, and the surfaces on each floor add up to 2,000 sqm, the premises being wide, without interior columns and easily partitionable. On the ground floor, the employees in UBC 3 will benefit from services and retail spaces, as two restaurants, a pub, a café and a gelato place will open here over the upcoming period.

 

UBC 3 will be LEED certified, benefiting from the implementation of sustainable operating policies geared towards increasing the cost effectiveness of utilities and enhancing the tenants’ comfort.

 

The recently completed office building is located in the vicinity of Iulius Mall and near the upcoming park of the Openville project, which is currently pending fit-out. Thus, the people working in UBC 3 enjoy immediate access to more than 350 stores, food court, restaurants, fitness center and a broad range of services. Moreover, the Partner Card program was created especially for the employees in the project and entitles them to exclusive promotional discounts as high as 25% in hundreds of locations in the mall.
